Covering the Basics with Chrstine Cronau

Sorry it has been so long since my last post – life has been hectic over here with a constant stream of house guests, work events, social engagements – that I just have not had time to sit down and post.

However, today I came across this interview with Christine Cronau who I am following on FB and it really is a very good interview as it covers the most basic question of the LCHF life, many of which I had when I started. So I thought I would share it with you guys:

In case you don’t have time to listen to the entire 50 minute interview, you can also read the transcript here:

It has now been two month since I started my LCHF Challenge, and although I promise to write a post dedicated to the 2 Month Mark – I can tell you now, that I have no intention of returning back to my previous way of eating.  The more I read and look into LCHF – it just all make sense and I can’t believe all the nutritional nonsense that we have been fed by government and large food companies over my entire life time! It is time to stop and for the everday person to take control of what we put in our bodies!

I hope you enjoy the interview!

  1. I have started to get smelly armpits, phew! Lots of showers, but I ain’t giving up, I’ve lost weight, IBS has gone, acid reflux is stable, I do think that I don’t eat enough now as I am tired but I’m not as hungry, or I could be lacking in something. I love researching this subject and so believe in it. I watched a woman with her three year old in a cafe, the three year old was delighted to see this pink icing sugar covered cake on her plate and she was tucking into it like she had the best prize of the day. I looked in horror and thought that was me a few years ago, I gave my children these treats. I wanted to tell the woman to take it away, I got upset and I want everyone to believe in this. But I can’t force it on anyone, like a religion they have to learn for themselves. Keep going!

  2. Thank you! You answered a lot of questions my husband and I have had. We’ve been eating “healthy” but recently kicked it up a huge notch. We are now following a LCHF diet. It’s been easier for me as I did not eat much bread/cereal/grains to start. I have been worried about him as this was a bigger change and I didn’t want it to cause him harm. Your information has placed my brain at ease. Also, my mom died of Lewi bodies disease, so I am very cognizant of what may have lead to that state. She loved sweets. Will continue to eat this way and do my own research as well. 😊
